Methodology

Identification and development of critical managerial qualities is the primary focus of faculty members. Innovative teaching methods are adopted in order to clarify concepts and hypotheses. Conventional class room lectures form the bedrock on which case studies, assignments, group projects, seminars, debates, elocution, role playing, psycho-analysis help in further development of the student. Field work and guest lectures are applied to give critical practical orientation. The idea behind the whole academic exercise is not to make students exam oriented but business inclined. The ability to ask questions and challenge the established norms can only come through such an Endeavour.

Class Room

Lectures on which case studies, assignments, group projects, seminars, debates, elocution, role playing, psycho-analysis help in further development of the student. Field work and guest lectures are applied to give practical orientation.

Industrial Training

BIITM School Of Hotel Management Institute maintains a liaison between the industry and the students by helping them to participate in a 22 weeks programme ( as per the curriculum) that offers practical training at different hotels in India. This training involves the four core operational departments in a hotel: Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage Service and Kitchen. On successful completion of the Industrial Training, students receive a Certificate & Appraisals from Hotel to support the development of appropriate attitudes and behaviors during their training tenure. Training cell also organizes expert/guest lecturers & Industrial visits to give deep insight of the industry to their students.
